Same room,same time period and duration, twice in two years and same quality no complaints. Positive: Everything Negative: all the forks had disappeared, naughty previous guests😀

Cheap Positive: Nice takeaway round the corner Negative: No TV, no Power in bathroom. Drafty windows.

Unresolved problems Positive: Check-in is easy, the location is about a 30-minute walk from the center, 20 from Villa Park, shops nearby, plus a historic pub (The Bartons Arms) across the road. Relatively quiet location. Wi-Fi more than decent. Negative: I received a message that I couldn't check in before 6pm because there were problems with the cleaning staff. I didn't consider it a problem, as I arrived after 10pm. But when I arrived, I was unpleasantly surprised to find only the bed made. Otherwise, it was obvious that nothing had been done. There were towels from the guests before me in the bathroom, leftovers in the basket, etc. In addition, the light in the bathroom wasn't working and the shower wasn't working either. I sent the owners a message with all this and they promptly replied that someone would come urgently to solve the problem. I waited for more than an hour, until I fell asleep. I stayed 3 nights and no one came and I didn't receive any more messages. I used the shower in the shared bathroom, but that's not what I paid for. I don't like to leave this comment, as I'm not a picky person, but it seems normal to me that those who want to stay should know about this problem. Attention! The TV does not have a cable and can only be used if you connect it with your own phone.
